(2,550 posts)Needs to destroy Trump.
I'm not knocking Bernie but we need to win the GE.

(29,798 posts)So I guess that means I should thank you for changing your support to Bernie, right?
I thought Bernie would win the nomination and best Trump, I'd switch.
But I support Hillary, she is winning and can beat both Trump and Sanders.

(29,798 posts)After Mar 15 I'm reading that the field tips in favor of Sanders. Hillary might have arranged for the media to under-report the progress that Sanders is making against her, but they are both still playing the same cards they started the game with and nothing has happened to change the trajectory of the national the trend lines. Hillary is still remarkably disliked and Bernie is still being embraced by everyone that comes to know him.
I don't want Trump.
I like Hillary but don't dislike Sanders. I try not to post negatives but I'd campaign for BS if needed.
We shall see in the next 2-3 weeks.

(29,798 posts)All the polling shows Bernie as the stronger contender in head to head polling and his favorability/trust ratings, which I understand are the best predictor out there, are the best of all candidates.
Yes, Hillary has been attacked relentlessly for 25 years. But has that 'made her stronger' as claimed, or has it left her with a freight train of baggage the haunts her in almost everything she does.
In contrast, I admit Bernie has not had to endure the attacks that Hillary has been subject to, but given his record and the way the word socialism has lost its stigma, I don't see attacks against him gaining much traction. Hillary has certainly tried and she hasn't managed to get a toehold anywhere against him.
What do you see?

(6,476 posts)many delegates still to be apportioned tonite. I think MSNBC estimate about 1066 for Clinton including Super Delegates

(6,476 posts)Go to the states listed on the graph you attached-there are delegates in just about every state that have not been apportioned. Its going to get worse for Sanders

(25,586 posts)and she won here in 2008. Even if Sanders did win it would be a marginal win without a huge delegate pickup. Unless he really gets something going with the Latino voters he's not coming out of here with much.
All my opinion, pulled from my nether fundament, of course.
