Millennials, do not underestimate their influence ....

they are not as biased as some in the over 60 crowd. They have grown up in a more diversified world and are more accepting of others on a variety of fronts. What a wonderful accomplishment!

People will not move swiftly backwards on racial and gender issues, that should not be an excuse for voting against the interests of ALL people throughout the world and we should not discount their numbers. We also need to leave a planet that has the needed resources, a challenge that needs to be addressed.

There was a comment in a post that basically stated we might loss rights for women and the LGBT community if we do not vote in a certain manner, but I doubt the majority of millennials would be silent if some politician tried to take away these rights.

Moving forward, with the help of our children

1. Millennials don't pick and chose their outrage. When they see an injustice they fight it.

And they are not loyal to either party. They hold both parties responsible for the mess we are leaving them.

to grow.

Remember the first Dem debate was not until October while we let the Repubs have a two month start.

Just spoke with my daughter tonight that confirmed she is registered Dem to vote for Sanders, she moved to Florida last year as a new internal medicine doctor.

We build the movement one by one, they will not let our country move backwards so quickly. That was the intent of most post, do not be intimidated by what happens today, they will not let the gains won be overturned easily in the future.

We have seen what happens when we vote to get along, that does not work so well for most people. The wealthy are becoming wealthier on the backs of the dwindling middle class. At some point you have to say 'enough is enough.'
