(29,199 posts)Bill doesn't look so good in that close up... age is really catching up to him.
The Presidency ages the President (look at Obama from 7 years ago and today)... it is not a job I would ever want.

(29,199 posts)and for the past 23 years he hasn't really spent that much time in the south (DC for 8, then NYC for the last 15, except for traveling the globe for the institute).
I grew up not that far from Arkansas... and I spent my summers working in the fields... until I graduated college. I'm almost as old as Bill, and I do not look that bad... but I wasn't President for 8 years (getting almost no sleep) and I didn't lose a bunch of weight by going vegan after spending a lifetime eating junk food.
I'm glad he lost the weight and changed his eating habits, probably saved his life. But he doesn't look that good.

(135,425 posts)When you lose weight at an older age, when your skin is less elastic, it doesn't snap back and you have wrinkles.
He's much healthier these days and more fit as well. Remember, this is a guy who has coronary artery disease and he had a multiple bypass operation. He's mostly vegan, with rare breaks, and he watches very carefully what he eats.
Also, your point about the south is valid. He spent all his early life, his youth, under a hot sun and likely without sunscreen or a hat. That kind of skin damage makes its presence known in older age.

(15,480 posts)Same as wearing a Tshirt or hat with a candidate's name/logo on it. Limitations on distance from polling place entrances vary from state to state. In Pennsylvania, if he came in as a registered voter, as the Judge of Elections, I'd tell him to remove it. And no one within 20 feet of the entrance to a polling place is allowed to wear/display campaign signs, clothing, etc.

(6,900 posts)Massachusetts law prohibits anyone from handing out literature, wearing or posting stickers or buttons, or otherwise circulating campaign material within 150 feet of the entrance of a polling place.

(15,480 posts)Which is apparent if you compare the photos of Bill with his Big Boy Bullhorn and Bill in front of the kid with the sticker. So that kid's sticker was not in violation of Mass. election law. Got it?
fullautohotdog
(90 posts)So, what you're saying is the photo in the OP -- which is what you replied to -- wasn't even at an election site? So... you took a jab at him for no reason while ignoring the exact same thing by a supporter of your candidate 2 feet behind him. Nice.
BTW, you did respond to the OP, not to another photo (the other photo you reference was posted an hour after your response). Maybe that's where the confusion came from.

(146,288 posts)Putting a candidate sticker on your forehead. I saw a few people who did that at our caucus location in St. Paul, MN. I'll bet Bill Clinton would have laughed, too.

(30,481 posts)That will be a picture they will keep going back to. These little events are often enough to keep young people interested in politics. I know that sounds strange but it will give them the emotional feeling of having skin in the game. Fun and good all around.

I don't ever want to see the words "x-rated" and "Trump" in the same sentence again! Especially after last night's debacle.
