(4,458 posts)the rise of the Third Way. We, for far too long Have "held our noses" and voted for LOTE.
I do believe after 900 Dem seats have been lost, nationally over the past 3 election cycles-the Low turnout - Dem leaders Ignore and make assumption the base will "get in line-like they've Always done - Ignore these 2016 signals at their Own peril.
Lines are drawn and the Dem Wing ain't budging...not again and sure as hell Not this time.
HRC supporters who delight in attempting to insult, bully, divide and demean Bernie supporters are making this Phenom even More viable

It's time for tough love.

Bullshit. Clinton voted for a pathway to citizenship for over ten million people living in the shadows. Sanders voted against it multiple times.
Clinton voted for the IWR while Sanders voted for the Iraq Liberation Act.
"Why Bernie is Much More Likely than Hillary to Defeat Donald Trump"
There is simply no valuable analysis to back that up. It's also foolish on face value.
"What is driving the voters to move away from Hillary and toward Bernie and/or Donald?
Voters are showing up for Clinton. We do have a turnout problem but that is even more dire when looking at Sanders numbers.
"Who Really Won Super Tuesday? "
Clinton. I didn't know there was even a discussion about that.
"Running Clinton against Trump is a disastrous, suicidal proposition "
Borderline religious claim with no backing.

And to say that does not mean that I am not awake. I actually support Sanders and plan to vote for him when the primary comes to CA. But this fear mongering by some of his supporters is starting to piss me off. Hillary Clinton has been leading Trump is the polls for months and that has not changed. And I actually got banned form the Bernie Sanders group yesterday for pointing that out. This type of fear mongering and silencing anybody who dares challenge it with facts is not befitting of a progressive candidate or his ideals.
Yes, I would prefer Bernie Sanders the candidate to Hillary Clinton. I'm starting to not feel that same about some of his supporters though.
