1. Most super-delegates ARE Dem party leaders. If they are

elected officials the risk is that we the voters will take it out on them during the GE.

My area of MN has 5 super-delegates and all are elected except one. I can chose to ignore them if I want.

2. Historically, they go with the choice of the party. In 2008 they all changed and voted for Obama.

They vote together with the pledged delegates at the convention.
