to do steam injection (fracking without the chemicals) in my neighborhood,in an area riddled with earthquake faults. They are so sure they will get the permits to do so that they already have built a pipeline to carry the oil to a refinery down the coast. That's how corrupt our local government has become.

Commission, they voted to issue the permit. We have appealed and it will go to hearing, but like I said, it seems the rubber stamp is in place because they have actually built the pipeline to the refinery to carry the oil they will extract to it. The new pipeline is a quarter mile from where I live and many other families live. No one knew either what was going on with the road being dug up. They thought it was just repair. This is how sneaky they were and how complicit the bureaucrats were in allowing them to do this.
