Kerry Washington, Viola Davis, & Ellen Pompeo Endorse Hillary Clinton in New Video!

Kerry Washington, Viola Davis, and Ellen Pompeo are speaking out in support of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in this new video that aired on ABC

The three ladies star on producer Shonda Rhimes‘ TGIT shows and Scandal‘s Tony Goldwyn directed the clip.

“Every day I wake up and play a brilliant, complex, overqualified, get-it-done woman, who obsessively fights for justice, who cares, who gives a voice to the voiceless, who gets knocked down and always gets back up,” the three ladies say in the video. “I make television filled with the kinds of characters I imagine we all can be. Strong but flawed, human but extraordinary. Our characters are on television but the real world… The real world has Hillary Clinton. A bonafide, rolls up her sleeves, fights for what’s right, in it for you, won’t back down, champion for all of us. That’s why I’m with Hillary. Join us.”

Although I'd be happy with Berne too, but I think a lot of women on both sides are going to step into that voting booth in November and see a qualified woman on the ballet for the first time in the 240 years of this country and find it hard not to support her.

I'm an 30 year old Asian female who makes a very decent living because of good free/cheap public education, and I actually find it VERY EASY to not vote for her in November. Too bad I live in Wisconsin and have to really consider whether or not to vote for her. If I still lived in New York where I went to college or Tennessee where I went to graduate school, I would not hesitate to NOT vote for her. I'm still being open-minded about Hillary and would like to see what she will do after the primaries are over, but she has a mountain to overcome at this point to get my vote. Right now, it's no until I see her rising above corporate America. Releasing those transcripts would go a long way for me in gaining my support. It scares me that she made millions from them but is not willing to be transparent about it.

Like Hillary, make no mistake so I really don't care to hear WHAT she has to say in terms of politics. Her word is mud to me.

edit: Scratch that, I don't care what the average celebrity says about who they're voting for unless they have an active, recent record in grassroots activism like Mark Ruffalo.
