(16,170 posts)Sequoia voting machines WITH a paper trail. Never used one of those before! Little paper record behind plastic scrolls alongside of the touchscreen so you can see the record. Yay.
After voting (with a giant smile on my face), I drove over to Evanston to pick up a yard sign, whereupon I volunteered to go canvass a neighborhood for three hours. Fun, actually, and good exercise.
Been wearing the Bernie button this weekend and convinced a rather cynical young voter to opt for Sanders who otherwise wasn't even going to vote. Looked up his polling location for him. Hope he goes tomorrow; if there's been an early voting place closer to him I'd feel more sure about it.
