Bernie Sanders Drops The Moral Hammer On Trump For Inciting Violence At CNN Town Hall

"Let me say something about Mr. Trump. Some of you may have read just a few hours ago that Mr. Trump said that he is prepared to pay the legal costs of an individual who sucker punched someone at a recent event. He’s going to pay the legal fees of somebody who committed a terrible act of violence. What that means is that Donald Trump is literally inciting violence with his supporters. He is saying if you go out and beat somebody up, that’s okay. I’ll pay the legal fees. That is an outrage, and I would hope that Mr. Trump tones it down and tells his supporters that violence is not acceptable in the political process.

You heard this one individual who sucker punched somebody, and if he’s quoted correctly, what he said well, he might be a terrorist and next time I might have to kill him. I think that is roughly the quote. And this is the guy who Trump is going paying legal fees for? What this essentially saying is an incitement to violence. You go beating up somebody? It’s okay. We’ll pay the legal fees. That is unacceptable, and I think Sen. Rubio has a legitimate concern. Trump has got to get on the TV and tell his supporters that violence in the political process in America is not unacceptable, end of discussion."

No Republican candidate has dared to call out the violence that Trump is instigating like Bernie Sanders did. Sen. Sanders is displaying more integrity than all of the remaining Republican presidential candidates combined. Sen. Sanders is leading the moral charge to stop the divisive Trump from tearing the United States apart.

While Donald Trump is playing to the worst elements in America’s collective character, Bernie Sanders is embodying what truly makes America great.

because judging every single person in a group is wrong, and I know a few who are good people but a tad misguided.

Having said that, I'm extremely disappointed that NO ONE in their party is grabbing the reins and saying, "Enough! This is not the way we do things. How about a little decency and decorum?"

As evidenced by Congress' treatment of the Executive Office since Obama began occupying it.
This is just an extension of THAT.

They give no fucks. And even if they DID, they don't dare SAY they do.
Cowards, to the Last.

Hopefully some conservatives who are decent people will decide they need to stop that man from winning the General Election, assuming he's the nominee. My father, who unfortunately is conservative, has told me he will not vote for Trump under any circumstances. Let's hope some others feel the same way.

If he doesn't walk onto the convention at least 200 delegates up, they won't give him the nod.

And if it's between Trump and Cruz in the WH, better trump.
A blue Congress could stroke his ego and get his narcissistic self to pass any number of useful things. Cruz is an outright ass who will burn the whole New Deal to the ground and call it Gods own Fire.

What Trump is only playing at for votes, Cruz actually IS.

for an oppositional Congress.

And thank you. I try not to post unless I feel I have something useful to offer. I have made a good habit of typing it, reading it and then deleting it and backing out--'because THAT comment (were it ever to see the light of day) would be very bad and thats not fair to the electrons that would have to be disturbed just for me to act like a ass on the internet'.

So I try not to post garbage or nonsense here =)

No, Bernie didn't lead the way. The way was lead by the People. The People took matters into their own hands and made Trump run home to mommy.

That's what makes America great: The People.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A man arrested for punching a protester at Donald Trump’s rally in Fayetteville this week later said he “might have to kill” the demonstrator the next time he saw him.

(snip)

“He deserved it,” McGraw said of the protester, Rakeem Jones. “The next time we see him, we might have to kill him. We don’t know who he is. He might be with a terrorist organization.”

McGraw showed little remorse for the attack.

“You bet I liked it. Knocking the hell out of that big mouth,” McGraw continued. “No. 1, we don’t know if he’s ISIS. We don’t know who he is, but we know he’s not acting like an American.”

Bernie has already started using what Bully Pulpit he has without even being nominated, of all the politicians and political leaders running for the Presidency, Bernie is leading the way.

I do agree with your point of view insofar as the people leading but that has been the case throughout our nation's history, the people have always led the way but that takes nothing away from our political leaders past and present with the moral integrity to follow suit.

We absolutely need them.

P.S. Of course on many other critical issues, Bernie has been ahead of the people, when certain points of view weren't so popular.

Right. Because we all know that Good Americans shut up and do what their Corporate Betters TELL them to do and don't make waves.

If that were true, why is this fuckstick at a TRUMP RALLY?

on reflection, that's some scary-ass shit right there

"we" don't know if you're ISIS, your mother's ISIS, your children are ISIS, really your entire family could be infested to the gills with ISIS. "we" probably need to put you and your family in some kind of camp with other potential evildoers until "we" know what's going on. oh shut up, it's a great camp, it's an incredible camp, it'll make your head spin.
