http://www.rawstory.com/2016/03/pastor-kicks-off-trump-rally-by-calling-for-bernie-sanders-to-convert-bernies-got-to-meet-jesus/

“Bernie Sanders, who doesn’t believe in God, how in the world (are) we going to let Bernie — I mean, really?” Burns said, as the crowd applauded. “Bernie’s got to get saved, Bernie’s got to meet Jesus. He’s got to have a coming to Jesus meeting.”

but I'm pretty sure that, if and when Bernie gets the nomination, the GOP will go all out anti-Semitic as one avenue of attack.

Then again, anyone dim enough to be an anti-Semite would probably never be reachable by us anyway. Even so, I'm hoping the Sanders campaign has factored this into their GE strategy.

Burns, who is black, encouraged the audience to cheer louder and reminded them to watch his upcoming appearance on CNN, where he planned to promote Trump’s campaign, and tweaked the Black Lives Matter movement by telling the cheering crowd that “all lives matter.”

And no, Bernie does not need to know Jesus. He is fine just as he is.

Trump could use some kind of conversion. He seems sorely lacking in humility, the cardinal Christian virtue, as well as in knowledge of the Bible or the Christian tradition, Christian liturgy (he tried to out money into the communion plate recently), or in a history of Christian worship. As a Christian I find it sickening that so many evangelical Christians are embracing this vile man who in no way, shape, or form represents Christ or his Church.

Jesus then endorsed Sanders' campaign for the White House in a hastily-called press conference.

"It's about time we had a compassion soul with his hands on the levers of political influence," the Galilean told gathered members of the media at the subsequent presser.

"I've longed talked about feeding the hungry and clothing the naked, but I observe that presidents from the Republican Party in this country have fallen short of the mark on those counts. Well, 'fallen short of the mark' doesn't really explain their level of negligence. I guess what I meant to say was, 'They haven't done shit for the poor.'
