Bruce Springsteen had a few words to say about Wall Street vs Main Street, health care and poverty.

Like Bernie he sees what's happened to our country and has been an outspoken advocate for those among us who are almost too beaten down and tired to fight anymore.

With the E Street Band and some help from Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, they totally rocked 'The Ghost of Tom Joad'.

For all my fellow Bernistas, enjoy:

I prefer to listen to Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" when I fill out my ballot.
Just because it lets them know I'm coming.

would suit Bernie's campaign perfectly. You could string various lyrics together to create a perfect song.
"Poor man wanna be rich, rich man wanna be king, and the king ain't satisfied until rules everything."

"Well the dogs on - wall - street howl cuz they understand if I could take one moment into my hands Mr. I'm not a boy, no I'm a man and I believe in the promised land"

"Dockworkers dreams mix with panther schemes to someday own the rodeo"

More?

I got a job working construction for the Johnstown Company
But lately there ain't been much work on account of the economy
Now all them things that seemed so important
Well mister they vanished right into the air
Now I just act like I don't remember
Mary acts like she don't care

-The River

Now Main Street's whitewashed windows and vacant stores
Seems like there ain't nobody wants to come down here no more
They're closing down the textile mill across the railroad tracks
Foreman says these jobs are going boys and they ain't coming back to your hometown

- Your Hometown

From the Monongahela valley
To the Mesabi iron range
To the coal mines of Appalachia
The story's always the same
Seven hundred tons of metal a day
Now sir you tell me the world's changed
Once I made you rich enough
Rich enough to forget my name

- Youngstown

interestingly, trump would like that line, for a completely different reason....

... he's so vain, he probably thinks that line is about him....

I used to like to go to work but they shut it down
I got a right to go to work but there's no work here to be found
Yes and they say we're gonna have to pay what's owed
We're gonna have to reap from some seed that's been sowed
And the birds up on the wires and the telegraph poles
They can always fly away from this rain and this cold
You can hear them singing out their telegraph code
All the way down the telegraph road

a defender of the working man, he always touts a local food bank and supports their fundraising at the concert.

Will say: saw tons of Bernie signs in Oakland and Berkeley. Friends of my kids up there are voting Bernie.

Great concert, of course. Great.

...ever since he became friends with our illustrious governor from NJ, who reportedly has attended 136 of his concerts. I just can't appreciate Bruce's music any longer
because it brings a sour taste to me now. I change the radio station whenever I hear a song of his that I had once liked.

Now Tom Said; "Ma, whenever ya see a cop beatin' a guy
Wherever a hungry new born baby cries
Wherever there's a fight against the blood and hatred in the air
Look for me ma
I'll be there
Wherever somebody's strugglin' for a place to stand
For a decent job or a helpin' hand
Wherever somebody is strugglin' to be free
Look in their eyes ma,
You'll see me
