The ballots are going fast! Get yours while they last!

I was voter #56 in my precinct at 6:40 this morning. This is a very good pace for a primary.

The really good news, however, is that in our deeply red Chicago collar county precinct, the stack of unused dem ballots was half as high as the repub stack. They pull them 50 at a time, so this means people have pulled twice as many dem ballots as repub ballots!

Spouse was 42. There were 10 paper and one electronic booths. All paper booths were full and there was 15 people behind us in line. A good start indeed!!!

All pulled Democratic ballots in my PCT. The lonely Republican waiting in his ballot with the precinct judge next to ours kept looking over as they called out Democratic. I almost felt sorry for him, but not really.

A neighbor just texted me, and She was #107 about 20min ago. School drop off starts here soon, until 9am at the preschools.
