Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is targeting Hillary Clinton in a new ad, portraying the Democratic presidential candidate as not tough enough to handle major foreign policy issues.
15-second video posted to Trump's Instagram account shows Russian President Vladimir Putin showing off his martial arts skills and a masked militant pointing a gun at the camera.
"When it comes to facing our toughest opponents, the Democrats have the perfect answer," the video says, cutting to a clip of Clinton barking like a dog last month when she taunted Republicans.
Putin cracks up in Trump's video before text appears back on screen, stating, "We don't need to be a punchline!"
Trump last month had decried what he called a double standard over Clinton's barking, calling the former secretary of State a "joke."

(24,692 posts)I don't think Donald is going to be 'confronting' Vlad much either. Hillary has been Secretary of State. I think she knows how to negotiate with other countries a lot better than Donald does.

The ad is just stupid. If anything, the below says more about him, his campaign, and his cowardice than anything -

(643 posts)when it comes to our foreign policy. Trump (no further description needed) or Hillary. HRC, with her vast "experience" that resulted in her vote for the Iraq war (when Bernie had the foresight to see the issues related to destabilizing the region), giving rise to ISIS, and then thinking it's a great idea to institute a no-fly zone in Syria to challenge Putin to cross. What a wonderful choice for the voters to have...
