2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumEnough of the Bernie should stay in posts. ENOUGH
What the hell is going on? I keep seeing these posts that infer the primary is settled. IT IS NOT SETTLED.
It is only half over, and in politics anything can happen from now until June.
I get the H camp wants to declare victory, but I don't get some of you claiming defeat. Just stop it.
The next time you start to post a defeatist post just walk away from the computer, it really is tiresome to read these unreal posts claiming it is settled. IT IS NOT SETTLED.

(19,089 posts)On Wednesday, I was the most insufferable pessimist ... Dreading the losses like they were deaths in the family ...
Today? ... HERE'S ANOTHER DONATION, Bernie Boy!

(2,145 posts)I want his message to ring throughout the land. A lot of people who still haven't connected for whatever reason will be wishing they had before this is over. And it will keep Hillary honest.

Hillary may win, but she'll have to spend the bread to do it,
and it's paper cuts until the convention.
DanTex
(20,709 posts)Which, judging by your "paper cuts" comment, sounds like what you're rooting for.
John Poet
(2,510 posts)and Bernie can keep running against her in the remaining primaries.
Of course I'm not rooting for Trump-- although his trade position is better than Hillary's history.
Fancy that.
It could make for trouble with blue-collar workers in a state like mine.

(9,289 posts)I think the chances of his winning are small, but large enough that he should stay in. He should also stay in to advance the revolution even if he loses.

(23,272 posts)Frankly I want to see Bernie keep taking his message to the people til the convention. I'm going to keep phoning and working and donating even more now, especially since the Hillary supporters are getting even more frantic in their insistence he drop out.
