(31,684 posts)The Libertarians will run someone and get their usual 2-3% of the vote. The Libertarians are never much of a factor because they have no money.

RMoney - the business wing
Ron Paul - the Libertarian wing
Rick Santorum - the Christian conservative wing
Newt Gingrich - the "establishment" (no matter how much he claims he isn't, HE created "the establishment"
What was missing was the neo-con wing, although Adelson is neocon and has been funding Gingrich to carry out that agenda.
