More importantly Bernie's message resonates well with followers. The message of "Fairness for all" and compassion for his fellow man follows religious teaching more so then the entitled Wall St / Clinton brand. More importantly Jesus Christ had a certain distain for the "Moneyed Elite"

17. I've been struggling with religion for so long - some of life's experiences make you question it all

but even I think the symbolism is beautiful and can almost believe it really is a sign - at least, I want it to be one. My dad was like the pied piper of animals and children - they just immediately seemed to know his heart and trust him. I see a lot of him in Bernie Sanders - that little bird, whatever it represented or didn't - knew where the safe spot was.

What I think was best about this unscripted moment was seeing Bernie Sanders react to it with happiness and joy and a great smile. It makes me understand why a person who knew Bernie for years, when asked if he gave him any advise when he spoke to him after he announced -- said the only advise he gave was that he should smile more.
