2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSo Bernie swept all 3 states!
major victories...
In some areas Bernie won by 5 to 1. The fact that the media was desperate not to admit that fact tells us something big too.
How's that for reality.. in the face of adversity.
Other states, though, don't assume your local MACHINE is honest, perhaps best to assume its NOT honest.

(1,163 posts)I didn't catch anything on the tube or web, I only get broadcast teevee and her Twitter feed has nothing, nada, zilch.
I did see this, but no "congratulations, Bernie" messaging.

(55,981 posts)the process. Taking photos of delegate lists etc. I was the caucus captain and I had two Clinton supporters helping me. One helped with the tally and delegate assignment. We had no problems. Our result was Sanders 77% and Clinton 33% almost exactly the outcome for the state.

(14,331 posts)or 4 to 1 and that after the last poll I saw had Clinton leading in Alaska. Washington was about 3 to 1, Hawaii "only" about 2 to 1.
This ain't over by a long shot.

(4,667 posts)I wish that I could explain the BS that I see with some issues that I follow, but when I try to, it seems nobody sees it.
Virtually everything we've been told on health care is wrong.

(11,945 posts)We don't have the MSM and we cannot count on honest voting environments. Our two main areas of concern appear to be
1) Messaging. We must keep on getting the message out about Bernie and fighting the lies from the other side (and there will be plenty of those as we've seen here) and
2) Voting and counting. We must watch the polling and caucus places very carefully for any possible "irregularities" and everything leading up to it -- registration, ballots, etc.
The opposition is well-funded, influential, etc., desperate to win and not hampered by decency. Our recent wins could bring out anything in them. So we must be ready for surprises.
Yesterday was wonderful, but we cannot afford to get too comfortable. I assume Bernie's HQ is fully aware of these realities, but we little folk can do our share on both fronts.
