IF...there is an "October Surprise"..(I'm now speculating and tightening my tin foil) I would

bet anything that Mitt has spent time in an asylum/rehab for a mental breakdown. I said it, I'm stuck with it, but sooooo many things are pointing in that direction. This, if true, could be his and his campaign's demise.

Heck, I thought he was on the fringe of lunacy during the first debate.

What is pointing in that direction?

If you're right, I wonder how much of a difference it would actually make. They'd figure he was together enough to rape all those companies and make tons of dough.

make a huge difference. Making tons of dough is one thing but dealing with other nations, building relationships, etc. Too much, he'd be a disaster.

But... But... But... History repeats itself!!!

No it doesn't. It is all confirmation bias. You remember the hits, and you forget the misses. There are October surprises every election, except when there is no October surprise.

So, knock it off with those cockamamie bells. <== Kelly's Heroes allusion.

8. Speculation is it relates to Romney's treatment of Mormon women in the 80's when he was a bishop.

He was "curious" as a young man. Not a shred on evidence was presented to support that but was interesting none the less.

Though the mental illness angle looks promising too...didn't one of his sons say a couple days ago you can't leave Mitt alone for any significant length of time? His wife has said she's worried about his mental stability if he gets elected.
