VOTER REGISTRATION CORRUPTION JUST KEEPS ROLLING HERE IN PENNSYLVANIA

This is UNBELIEVABLE! After reading an article at Anonymous on the antics in Arizona, I noticed a comment attached to the article that stated there are widespread reports of voter registration manipulation in PA and NY.

See article: Anonymous Investigate Arizona Election Fraud, “Sanders Was Hacked”
Link: http://www.anonews.co/anonymous-sanders-hack/

Since I live in PA and am a Bernie supporter, I decided to confirm my registration immediately.

I checked the VotesPA website and, sure enough, voter registration information on both my husband and me is not available!!! We have been registered Democrats and voting at this location since 1987 and 1994 respectively.

This is the message that came up for both of us: "No Voter Registration information could be found for the data provided. Either search again using different data or contact your County Voter Registration Office."

Calling tomorrow and surprise (not), we are Bernie supporters!!! INCREDIBLE!!! Just coincidence in state after state???? I think not!!!

Seems like those two lapses in the firewall (both reported by the Sanders Campaign) are benefitting only one of our two Democratic candidates...

HIGHEST PRIORITY!!! PLEASE TELL EVERYONE WHO IS STILL WAITING TO VOTE IN PRIMARIES TO CHECK THEIR REGISTRATION...ESPECIALLY FRIENDS IN NY AND PA!!!

Another way for states to avoid disenfranchisement is to get rid of party-registration in the 28 states which have it, joining the 22 states which don't.

they could target Demographic groups if they wanted to. There's really no good reason for a lot of registration problems. Especially not in a closed primary state with fewer people voting.

http://www.sharonherald.com/news/local_news/pa-s-closed-primaries-shut-out-young-independent-voters/article_34fb6460-64ce-11e5-a611-ebb8340c249f.html

-----------------------------

PA's CLOSED PRIMARIES SHUT OUT YOUNG AND INDEPENDENT VOTERS

HARRISBURG – Unless something historic happens before next April, one of seven registered voters in Pennsylvania will have no chance to check the name of their favorite candidate during the presidential primaries.

About 675,000 voters are registered as independents. Another 440,000 belong to minor political parties.

Because of Pennsylvania’s closed primaries, they can only vote in the general election.

The exclusive system, shared by 10 other states, is designed to give added weight to the votes of party faithful, experts say. But it also contributes to more rigid positions among candidates and makes younger voters feel excluded.

“The closed primary undoubtedly creates more polarized and extreme candidates, which definitely leads to gridlock,” said Slippery Rock University political science professor David Kershaw. “Ideologues will refuse to cooperate. Their way is correct, everyone else is not.”

Wilkes University political science professor Thomas Baldino said research shows younger voters eschew party labels because they are disappointed by the Obama administration and have seen little done among Republicans to win their affection.

8. Bernie's database has been hacked.
Thu Mar 31, 2016, 01:20 AM
Mar 2016

(Now we are beginning to realize that Bernie's database has been hacked and used in MANY states to alter voter registration. But the following article is still pertinent)

Was New York's Voter Registration Data Hacked and Changed Like Arizona ?

"One of the more disturbing allegations made on the Heavy article by an anonymous poster was that the databases for people to access voter registration and to be able to change party affiliations is run by NGP VAN. NGP VAN was the company at the center of the controversy last December about the lack of security in the DNC databases that allowed Bernie Sanders staffers to access some of Hillary Clinton’s data. The company is headed by one of Bill Clinton’s former staffers, Stu Trevelyan, and one of the employees is the nephew of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC chairwoman who has sparked outrage over allegations of trying to game the election for Clinton."

My comment:
So... the same company manages BOTH databases. Not too difficult to pick out Bernie supporters and purge their registrations. I wonder how many OTHER states this has happened in. NO WONDER Bernie does better in caucus states !

collects information about likely dems and their candidate preference in their databases. I've been donating to Sanders for nearly a year and that information is stored in the DNC database. I've never ever had to register a party affiliation in my life but the DNC still knows that I vote and support Dems and, more specifically, they know I support Sanders. I have my official 2016 survey sitting on the counter and I've never contacted them personally or shared info with them directly but they know A LOT about me.

They are usually clerks (higher level clerks, I meant a clerk title and not trying to demean their service), but they are government workers.

I just went into my Registrar's office in California the other day, and I doubt anyone there could give a hoot who I vote for. I just went up the counter and they waited on me like any other government desk.

but Arkansas also has an open primary, and the county clerks have information about voters' primary preferences. So even though I have not registered for any party (not required in Arkansas), I have consistently voted in Democratic primaries, and that might explain why I have occasionally received postal mail from local Democratic candidates, but never from a Republican candidate.

during the primaries, there were two steps to take before actually going into the booth.

The first was to check-in. Our names were located in the books and we initialed next to our names. The second was to go to a completely different table where we were asked if we wanted a Dem or GOP ballot. The second table had no way to identify the names of the voters. They just handed you the ballot you requested.

have you had to renew or update your drivers license info since the last time you voted?

I'm wondering about the security of the systems that the states use to register voters. There was talk about the AZ system changing party affiliation if one particular checkbox was left unchecked. I think I also read somewhere that a lot of states use the same software for DMV registration.

call your local BOE ASAP and aks about your registration status. If they refuse to update your party affiliation correctly, stop by their office and demand a photocopy of your registration form. If for some reason your problem can't be solved reach out to Bernie's campaign help@berniesanders.com, conntact the NY Attorney General: http://www.ag.ny.gov/contact-attorney-general and call the NYCLU 212-607-3300 http://www.nyclu.org/content/getting-legal-assistance

I did the same thing with my husband's name and the same thing happened----no info for full middle name, but complete info for just middle initial.

We're supporting different candidates in this house, so it doesn't seem like this is corruption.
