This is what we get with candidates who keep our party at arms-length

Joy Reid ‏@JoyAnnReid 10h10 hours ago
Sanders to #maddow on whether he will eventually start fundraising for the Democratic Party and down ticket candidates: "we'll see."

Joy Reid ‏@JoyAnnReid 10h10 hours ago
The Sanders answer on Dem party fundraising is interesting given that his campaign is pitching superdelegates, who are downticket Dems.

Joy Reid ‏@JoyAnnReid 10h10 hours ago
The irony is that Sanders' "political revolution" is at least in part based on retaking congress, meaning electing downticket Dems

It seems the only person who's supposed to benefit from Sanders' people powered revolution is... Sanders.

@allanbrauer @shawn_nee @BernieSanders Let me help w/translation: "Screw the party & the revolution, this is all about me."

So I guess we know where the money is going, since it's not going to help elect any Congress members so that Bernie might have a hope in heck of implementing ANY of his platform. Seems like shooting himself in the foot...unless he doesn't care that much about implementing his platform? I thought the revolution was going to include taking back Congress? It's very confusing...

...all lip service, given that he repeatedly dismissed the votes in the South as 'conservative,' and less important than the states which ostensibly would support him.
