Who Are the Superdelegates in Your State?

Do you know? Well, here's where you can find out:

http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/D

Scroll down and click on your state's abbreviation. Then scroll down to find out what the makeup is of unpledged delegates in your state. Typically they are:

The Democratic House Members from your state if any.
The Democratic US Senators from your state, if any.
The Democratic Governor from your state, if there is one.
The Democratic National Committee Members from your state.
Possibly a "Distinguished Democrat" Like a former President, VP or other prominent elder statesperson.

Note: You can find out who your DNC members are by searching Google for DNC Members [your state]

That's who they are. You can email them, if you like to make your opinion known. You can do that for any issue, really, and it's a great way to let your elected officials know your opinion. It's probably best to communicate politely, since ugly, impolite emails and the like will have the opposite effect from what you intended.

You can click on the "State" field & sort by State & it lists the SDs by name & the ones that are already committed are in yellow.

Yes, people, write to your reps & senators if you are not happy that they are putting all their votes in one basket.

He sent a reply that he can't discuss politics on his official email address and to call his campaign office.

That isn't true of his facebook page.

elected officials' facebook pages. It's one way to communicate. I still advise doing it politely, though.

nearly 3/4 of his constituents support someone other than the one he endorsed - after cashing her donation but before hearing from any alternative candidates.

And it's not just an endorsement. His vote carries the same weight as 2300 of we unwashed masses who chose Sanders. In round numbers, his vote cancels out the votes of all his constituents in my county.

The decision should be crystal clear for anyone with the word "representative" in their job title. We shouldn't have to ask at all, let alone nicely.
