Morons have no idea what she has done for the last twenty years. It really hit home with me how much staying out of "identity politics" has helped Sanders appear to be accomplished. And how phony it was to slander Planned Parenthood, when he knows how much harder she has fought for them over the years.
Not having it.

I loved the statement made by the Amsterdam News in it's endorsement of HRC: {something to the effect of} We must have missed the Bernie led protests of voter disenfranchisement and civil rights out of Vermont.
Bernie really torn it the other day with his "Womens rights are important; but, they detract from the REALLY important issues we face" comment. He tried to play it like he was talking about trump making another stupid comment; but, that's not what his words said!

(47,209 posts)CU. not sure how anyone can convince me this is not a one issue crusade. One that has the balls to impugn the good names of so many people and organizations that worked for other issues.
Why wouldn't we feel like the other?

Most PoC have heard what he has been saying (is his default position) ... and now, some women are, too.

(1,442 posts)22 Primaries remain, Bernie needs 56% or better to beat HRC through those remaining 22...
so yep... HRC is in BIG trouble, I like Bernie's chances
Chichiri
(4,667 posts)HumanityExperiment
(1,442 posts)that's more than 56% but ok, let's play the moving the goalposts game...
Why is HRC losing in WI now? Why has she basically pulled out of WI and moved onto NY?
Do I believe Bernie is capable of achieving 50, yes, the question I would pose to you... do that concern you that he could...
Chichiri
(4,667 posts)The demographics favor Bernie more in Wisconsin than in other upcoming states, that's why he needs more than 56% there.
And if she's pulled out of Wisconsin, you may want to tell her that, because she's coming to Eau Claire and Milwaukee tomorrow.
HumanityExperiment
(1,442 posts)yeah right... save that for the folks that don't know better, that aren't policy wonks and that follow politics pretty deeply
Shall we talk internal numbers? I doubt you will be I'll give ya a chance...

(4,667 posts)This would be the same Seth Abramson who last week argued that Bernie is actually winning the election, it's just that no one but him realizes it!
You'll have to do better than that.
But if you don't, that's okay. I'll enjoy your misery on June 7th all the more if you don't see it coming.
HumanityExperiment
(1,442 posts)since we have 22 primaries to go, Bernie just needs 56% or better within each of those remaining to beat HRC
I just have to ask, why can't HRC put this primary away? Each month that passes and he's closing the gap reaffirms that Seth is correct
Each passing primary that Bernie meets or exceeds that 56% threshold will reduce that threshold...
I'll let the facts stand, the internal polling numbers are looking bad for HRC and all I have to do is wait and point to each primary that passes along now to prove that out to ya
Chichiri
(4,667 posts)And unless you're doing something illegal, you don't have access to Hillary's internals. (If you're trying to deduce them from her behavior, I'll simply point out how much she has shifted her attention to the general election, while Bernie has again and again broken his promise to run a positive campaign, which he would only do if he feels it's his only chance.)
So there's a chance, albeit a small one, that Bernie will get 56% of the delegates from Wisconsin (he needs more than that, but let that pass for now). He'll probably get it in Wyoming. What I want to know is, what will your excuse be when he doesn't get it from New York?
HumanityExperiment
(1,442 posts)She can shift all she'd like... the rest of the primary is kicking her back-end and she's scrambling and losing her composure as she TRIES to pivot to GE only to have reality smack her in the face
Notice the narrative / optics that's playing out in the news cycle today?

why would I make an 'excuse' for someone that's closing the gap so quickly?
facts prove out Bernie's ability to close gap and overcome Hillary, WI is an example of that, recall MI? Same thing there.... single primary and given time to campaign gives Bernie the edge
So again, I'm not the one worried...

(12,689 posts)Statistically that sample is so small that it's almost impossible to glean anything about it. With that said, Sanders would be leading by a lot more than 6% if he was carrying the black vote by 10%. Just saying.

Maybe Bernie, too will have better luck eight years from noe.
