Because it expresses the same sense of weakness without the subliminal sexual connotation.

the second definition happened to be:

"to devote to corrupt or unworthy purposes"

which also seems to bullseye the man's purpose in life.

romney is so stiff and wooden. It's like a 2x4 with legs up there. With a head just as thick and a "heart" just as hard.

Hey, even my distressingly conservative best friend (who got wooed over to the Dark Side years ago, probably by the folks she hung out with) finds him utterly creepy. She's been awfully quiet lately when the usual opportunity ordinarily arises to interject some political comment. Unusually quiet. Ever since rick perry fizzled out after several rounds of shooting his own campaign in the foot. Good Lord she was hot on rick perry! He was gonna SAVE THE DAY. He was gonna be GREAT! May not be too bright but MAN is he good at "gettin' things dunn!" MAN is he good at politics. Well so much for THAT! And she's creeped out by santorum, too. Fortunately. It's comforting to know at least she's not THAT far gone.

then the line form Animal House would seem to apply: "a wimp and a blimp"

What's the rush?

Conversation is the exceptation. I mean expectation.

Dictionary.com definition:

Dork - a silly, out-of-touch person who tends to look odd or behave ridiculously around others; a social misfit: If you make me wear that, I’ll look like a total dork! Synonyms: jerk, schmo; nerd, geek.
