A video has been on cable news the past day or so in which Hillary Clinton says that of the thousands of guns used in crimes in New York,
the majority come from (Bernie Sander's) Vermont!

Lawrence O'Donnell (of MSNBC'S "Last Word&quot fact checked that statement tonight and found out, of all those thousands of guns used in crimes which were confiscated by police, 55 came from Vermont.

STOP THE PRESSES !!!

I'm sure Hillary will want to issue an immediate apology to Vermont,
and fire the staff person who gave her the false information.

Well, duh. "Per capita" is the key, since there are only a few thousand people in Vermont, it doesn't take many guns to make that statement literally true.

BTW, saying per capita means nothing. It's just a sneaky way of providing misinformation in a speech without actually lying (and she is superb at this), because nobody cares about per capita. If per capita had anything to do with it, California would have the highest number for guns recovered, and they have the lowest.

This is the way Hillary rolls. And people want her for President?
