Poor Bernie! Nobody Wants him there.Bernie Sanders is speaking at Vatican for 10 minutes during a coffee break, Pope wont be there

Maybe we could help out and offer up some new links to check out, like Breitbart, Red state, and I'm sure there are a lot more good ones. We don't want this poster to run out of material.

(24,411 posts)I read the article and visions of the National Enquirer came to mind.
The entire article is a farce.
There's even a picture of the Pope looking like he's being scolded, and a picture of BErnie next to the Pope, that looks like he's yelling at the Pope.
OMG...next it will be that Bernie is Bat Boy.
This is crazy.
Not worth our time refuting.

This rag isn't worth shit. It is totally in the bag for Clinton. It is pathetic the lies, innuendo, and smears that passes for 'journalism' these days.
This also Bill Palmer outs himself as a Clinton shill almost a year ago. He hates the 'purity left', which is just code for the fact that he is a moderately social and economically conservative New Dem. And he and Kos are buds. Need I say more?!

Daily News Bin is a pro-Hillary site. No doubt they are spinning night and day to turn something wonderful into a horrifying nightmare.
Hilarious.
That first line about the president of the Pontifical Academy of Science....Um, she's been debunked and outed as a liar. Monsignor Sorondo has gone on record to say that he invited Bernie. He even sent over a copy of the invitation that was signed by Sorondo and the president of the Pontifical Academy of Science. Now, they're using her quotes that have been completely outted as false. Sorondo said about her, "It was not that way!"
Sorondo is the Chancellor of the Pontifically Acadmey of Science and he's "a close aid to the Pope" according to Reuters. She's been silent and in a hidey hole somewhere, since she was outted as a liar by one of the Pope's aids!
That's some good comedy right there. Crazy good.

(1,732 posts)I know this fact must really sting Hillarians since they find it of utmost import to post Hillary propaganda stories in order to attempt to discredit him. This Pope and Bernie have a lot in common and share many of the same moral values. Hillary not so much.

(1,732 posts)and understand how to cultivate common ground. I'm personally not a religious person but I do believe in spirituality and the moral compass which is inside us all. Bernie and the Pope share similar moral compass settings in my view.

(57,349 posts)And didn't she also believe that "marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman" until quite recently?
Considering that and the fact that she kissed up to Rick Warren with glee it sounds like she could yuck it up with the pope just fine...
And the pope still snubbed her, go figure.

(5,240 posts)Sanders is flying to Rome on Trumps Jet with the Clooney's, where he has 10 minutes to squeeze in as many racist jokes as he can.
Being that Sanders moves on JP time(Jewish People) he will probably be there 3.2 seconds late and embarrass the nation which
will make the majority of Americans who hate Hillary transmogrify into people who frantically adore her.

(1,890 posts)Why do so many of the Clinton supporters feel the need to knock the Vatican via Bernie? Do they expect Catholics to believe that the Vatican was tricked into having Bernie come to this important conference? With so many of these threads I'm beginning to wonder just who it is that you are attacking. Is it really Bernie or are you just using Bernie so you can attack the Vatican? After all the Vatican has made clear that they want him to attend. Do you not believe them? Why do you keep questioning them after they've already said that they want him there? This is truly bad form and not a very smart political move.

(20,411 posts)at least for me
I think it was an honor to be invited - even if it was requested.
It is just that so many supporters are having a hard time dealing with reality. Many here (1) insist the invitation came directly from the Pope even though the Vatican itself has stated otherwise, (2) that a meeting with the Pope is inevitable even though there is no indication one way or the other, and (3) have made his 10-minutes the highlight of the day - the "headliner" even though the time allotted and the placement of the time is not prime-time.

(1,890 posts)I haven't viewed most of the threads about this topic because after so many it just becomes counterproductive. In the ones I did read I saw stupid stuff on both sides. I really hope people move on and find something better to argue about. These kind of threads make us all look like idiots.
