2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHas President Obama and Michelle made over 100 Million in "speaking fees" and "consulting fees" and
had hundreds of millions donated to their foundation (from domestic and foreign sources including some repugnant individuals) and I missed it? Big money being received time and time and time and time ...... again from people and companies who had business before our government?
Nothing like comparing apples and oranges.

At least not to the degree the Clintons have corporatized it

(22,145 posts)2. Not yet, but perhaps once they leave the White House. I'm sure many people would contribute to hear
the Obamas speak. Whatever, they do after January 2017, I'm sure it will be much more useful, charitable and important than oil painting, or whatever medium that "artist" Bush uses.

Unless the posters are right and he plans to cash in after he leaves office.
