Bill Clinton: I don’t like it when people say Hillary Clinton is 'part of the establishment'

"Bill Clinton has fought criticisms that his wife and the presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is part of the “establishment” following opponents’ claims that she has ties with Wall Street, has accepted speech money from various banks and has worked for most of her life within politics.

“The only thing I really dislike about this campaign is whenever somebody endorses Hillary, they get blasted on the email, on the internet, for being part of the establishment,” Mr Clinton said to a small crowd in New York. “It’s a pretty big establishment now.

“I mean it includes the Congressional Black Caucus, Planned Parenthood, the Human Rights Campaign, the League of Conservation Voters, several Hispanic organisations – most of the Irish – and I could go on and on.”

Sorry Bill, you and Hillary are a part of the establishment.

and the leaders ARE the establishment.
Every endorsement Bernie has received has been gotten by polling the MEMBERS.

You can try to wordsmith and weasel your way out of it, but the fact remains, Hillary is NOT 'of the people, by the people or, more importantly FOR THE PEOPLE.' And neither is Bill.

as someone who is being honest, and not angling to manipulate public opinion, are either very young, or very stupid.

He knows EXACTLY what that word means, and he knows for a FACT that they are both fundamentally ESTABLISHMENT. And as the establishment goes (for example, a branch of the government - Congress - that for 20+ years has held a public approval rating in the single digits), so goes the public's opinion of the Clinton's and their public service record.

You and Hillary are the establishment. You're not even on the edges of it; you're smack in the middle. In fact, you've done a heck of a lot to help perpetrate and increase it. Goldman Sachs doesn't pay $250K for a speech by some obscure fringe character who will never be in a position to do their bidding.

Bill Clinton is the only President to be impeached in 140 years--for lying about a blowjob during an unprecedented era of peace and economic expansion. Does that make him part of "the establishment"?

The next President was the most criminal President we ever had, and he got away with it all. That definitely makes him part of "the establishment," doesn't it?

Mrs. Clinton has been savaged in the press every goddamned day for twenty-five fucking years. There is an entire net of hundreds of radio stations devoted to destroying her. There is a billion-dollar television network devoted to destroying her. There are billionaires who have devoted decades to destroying her.

Half of you fools are doing the work of Republicans by attempting to destroy her.

The establishment does not pervert the mechanism of democracy to try to steal the Presidency from one of their own, as they did with Bill Clinton. They do pervert the mechanism of democracy to steal the Presidency for one of their own. They'll violate everything sacred to protect that bastard, too, and so they did for George W. Bush.

I'm saying this not because I support Mrs. Clinton, though I am going to support her if she wins the nomination. I've been trying to stay out of it but bullshit like this pisses me off. So let me say it in bold and be done with it:

THE ESTABLISHMENT DOES NOT DEVOTE DECADES TO THE DESTRUCTION OF THEIR OWN.

So stop it, please!

How American Corporations Transformed from Producers to Predators
Over the last 30 years, corporations have turned on the 99 percent. Here's how it happened and how to fight back.

By William Lazonick / AlterNet April 1, 2012

Corporations are not working for the 99 percent. But this wasn’t always the case. In a special five-part series, William Lazonick, professor at UMass, president of the Academic-Industry Research Network, and a leading expert on the business corporation, along with journalist Ken Jacobson and AlterNet’s Lynn Parramore, will examine the foundations, history and purpose of the corporation to answer this vital question: How can the public take control of the business corporation and make it work for the real economy?

In 2010, the top 500 U.S. corporations – the Fortune 500 – generated $10.7 trillion in sales, reaped a whopping $702 billion in profits, and employed 24.9 million people around the globe. Historically, when these corporations have invested in the productive capabilities of their American employees, we’ve had lots of well-paid and stable jobs.

That was the case a half century ago....

All those activist $250K speeches to Wall St.
All those fundraising events with the grassroots millionaires and billionaires.
All that radical endorsement bribery of Democratic party 'dignataries'
All the organic fundraising through state party to Hillary Liberty fund money laundering
All that viral marketing through the MSM.
And most of all, all that abstinence and fidelity by sticking strictly to blow-jobs.
