NEW YORK (WABC) --
Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton continue their campaign Wednesday with stops through the five boroughs, just one day to go before their debate in Brooklyn.
Sanders is expected to be in Washington Square Park, which was closed all day Wednesday at the request of the Secret Service, for an evening rally starting at 8 p.m. Tens of thousands are expected.
He will spend the morning in Downtown Brooklyn, down the street from Hillary Clinton's national campaign headquarters. Sanders will be endorsed by the city's major transit union, TWU Local 100, at an event there.
Sanders also is planning to go to one of the Verizon strike locations.
Clinton will attend smaller events and fundraisers. She is scheduled to speak at the National Action Network's National Convention at the Sheraton New York in Midtown. She will then hold an organizing event at 7 p.m. in the Bronx.
Clinton advocates also will give a speech at City Hall and is expected to criticize Sanders' record with immigrant families.
A Siena College poll released Wednesday shows Clinton leading the Vermont senator by 10 percentage points among the state's Democratic voters ahead of Tuesday's primary.
The poll shows Clinton favored by 52 percent of likely voters compared with 42 percent for Sanders, down from 55-35 percent in March. Clinton's lead is down from 55-34 percent on March 7 among registered Democrats likely to vote.
Clinton is on on the front page of Wednesday's Daily News. The editorial board calls her "clear eyes in what's wrong with America." Democrats have in her, the paper wrote, "a superprepared warrior realist. They have in opponent Bernie Sanders a fantasist who's at passionate war with reality."
Sanders famously flubbed his interview with the news' editorial board last week.
