Mothers of Black Victims Emerge as a Force for Hillary ClintonBy AMY CHOZICK APRIL 13, 2016
The Clinton campaign named this sisterhood forged in the shared loss of a child the Mothers of the Movement, and they have become an unlikely linchpin of Mrs. Clintons success in the Democratic primary. At campaign stops, Mrs. Clinton introduces them as a group of mothers who belong to a club no one ever wants to join. The mothers will arrive in New York this week to help Mrs. Clinton compete for the April 19 primary.

Yes, very telling that they are acting as Clinton surrogates rather for Sanders.

I guess the numbers are tightening if she needs to call in reinforcements.

(12,689 posts)7. Their voices matter and they opted to speak out
I think it's really good that they stepped up to the plate. Had they stepped up for Sanders would you have been making this sort of comment?

I don't trust Hilly.
I certainly don't trust Private Prison Hilly, or...
Bring them to heel Hilly, or...
Do anything to get elected Hilly.

In December, Ms. Reed-Veal, the mother of Ms. Bland, received a Christmas card in the mail. I know this is the first holiday without your baby, the neat cursive handwriting read. Just know, Im thinking of you. It was signed, Hillary. She received another note from Mrs. Clinton when a grand jury declined to indict anyone in her daughters death.
