2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumJane Sanders Calls 1 Hour Editorial Board Meeting An "Inquistion".
Sanders had to endure the torture of ONE whole hour of questioning by an editorial board whilst running for POTUS.
Hillary Clinton got grilled for 11 hours by Republicans over Benghazi and came out unscathed.
At this point, it seems neither Sanders nor his wife are up to the job.
That Jane couldn't come up with some comments that didn't sound like whinging is sad. What's even sadder? The Media just lets her babble without following up on her nonsense.
Jane Sanders, wife of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), said Wednesday that her husband's widely panned interview with the New York Daily News was "more of an inquisition."

(8,352 posts)she wouldn't have been there to start with.
Yeah, nothing says impressive more than a two bit liar giving so much ammunition to the opposition party through her own idiotic and self-entitled actions that she ends up in front of a congressional hearing!

(8,541 posts)It was designed to break Hillary and she didn't crack.
I can't believe I'm actually defending Hillary lol!
TM99
(8,352 posts)worst bullshit the Clintons do. But narcissists are like that. They get normal people to believe and do things they wouldn't normally do.
The hearing would never have occurred if Hillary hadn't been a self-entitled damn ass and gotten herself in that position. So it is very hard for me to have sympathy for someone who created their own mess.

(12,689 posts)Republicans tend to put on a lot of shams and abuse power. They actually admitted the hearings were for political reasons.

(8,352 posts)a liar.
There have not been months of illegal FEC contributions. That issue was resolved weeks ago and it involved ActBlue. Nothing came of it beyond that except in the perverted world of the Clinton supporter's mind.
Except yes we do know, because all of his senate financial disclosures are out there for you to look at. If there were discrepancies or issues, he would have already been in trouble.
I am going to love watching you in particular eat a massive plate of crow when they release the returns and there is literally nothing but y'all's deluded fantasy.

(12,685 posts)answer and went on and on, and the Democrats making statements on her behalf, and it was MUCH less than 11 hours. And the majority of the questions were hardly a grilling. On the RARE instances where she has to answer a tough question that she didn't know was coming her demeanor always changes.
