Gallup's Suspect Demographics

Latinos comprised 9% of the electorate in 2008:

http://edition.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/polls/#USP00p1

And not the 6% of the electorate that Gallup is reporting:

http://www.gallup.com/poll/158399/2012-electorate-looks-like-2008.aspx

That's a difference of 33.3%.

If a person was to lie about their ethnicity or race I think it's more likely they would lie to some anonymous person on the phone and not in a personal, face to face, interview.

Expect Latino paricipation to be >10% and Affrican American participation to be = to or > 12%

It's absurd assumptions about the composition of the electorate that made Gallup the most inaccurate pollster for the 2010 mid terms:

If any other pollster was that inaccurate they would have been assigned to the dustbin of polling history but due to their
storied reputation (sic) it's ignored.
