What Happens to Voting Machines in Evacuated Areas?

Silly question, I know.. but I've been sitting here thinking about North Carolina and Virginia and how HARD we've worked to get early voting turnout and people registered; and the long lines at voting places and then what about all the early voting places along the coast that get shut down/evacuated?

Have the early votes already "gone somewhere"? (I know, I'm a geek!) Or are they inside machines that might get washed away?

Somebody quick, tell me the answer so I can delete this concern thread !!! Thanks in advance.

cover for election "irregularities." This will surely play out in different ways, extremely hard to predict. But if you just imagine your own polling place, follow the path of the votes, you can see that the possibilities are endless. As an old-time poll watcher, I wish I had an answer.

has offered to house the machines until further notice. Tag Romney will personally oversee the machines he has an investment in. He doesn't want them to get ruined...and more importantly..he surely doesn't want the black guy to win.
