Great idea of hers, except Allen West has a steep uphill road ahead of him even trying to get reelected in his own home district. It would seem as though the consensus of voters there have just experienced a genesis of their IQ's.
On a national level, I would think that he would be about as appealing to a majority of the non-wackos as an over ripe seedless watermelon with mustard topping. I don't think for a minute that Romney needs to be concerned about attracting votes from the wacko element of his party. After all, assuming he gets the nomination, who else would they have to vote for?
I think that Palin has seen all of the attention that Rush Limpbrain has recently drawn to himself, and she is gets it: If you are an ailing attention junkie, the way to generate attention to yourself in the media is to say outrageous stuff. Stir 'em up. Then they will stroke your deranged ego and rush out to buy your shitty book. Did I say conniving?
