Romney leads in initial caucus results (WA)
Seattle Times:Mitt Romney led in early vote returns from Washington's Republican presidential straw poll Saturday.
As of just before 5 p.m. Romney had more than 36 percent of the vote, with Ron Paul and Rick Santorum vying for second place with about 24 percent each. Newt Gingrich trailed with about 12 percent.
Those totals came with 23 of the state's 39 counties reporting, according to the state Republican Party. Results were still pending from the largest counties, including King, Pierce and Snohomish.
