it is the visual of the Romney bus and the supposedly cancelled campaign events. Obama and his team need to be visible also and make sure they are getting the word out there that they are helping also. Don't take anything for granted.

your post is beyond ridiculous. Never mind the fact that the election is more or less locked up at this point, why in the world would the PRESIDENT need to be seen handing out supplies. We don't need to see him with some goddamn buses we need to know he is managing the FEDERAL RESPONSE TO A CRISIS.

Did you think ahead enough to consider that people may think it strange that THE PRESIDENT is on a BUS handing out supplies.

What's your next suggestion, that he stand in front of a MISSION ACCOMPLISHED banner when the storm's over?

Goods,in giant warehouses. Usually used just for Mormons, but could be used for distribution to engender good will for Willard and for good PR for his religion.

That's their personal salvation.

But they have other supplies and I'm sure they'll help where needed. I doubt they will connect to Romney though. They are pretty much distancing themselves from him. Silently they support him but he's been a major embarrassment.

Not in the slightest.

But, so, so glad to hear Willard is turning over an entire bus to deliver supplies while the President is running the country and overseeing disaster relief. We'll probably have to haul his dumb ass along with the bus out of a ditch when it slides off the road in hurricane winds. Does Dimbart have anything else to say that is of no importance? I guess that would be the entire site, right? Never mind. Let the brain dead drool over their 'news' site.

because the RED CROSS takes care of all of this. They have the logistics of emergency response and disaster relief down to a science. It's very, very complicated and awesome and amazing. Because of his security needs, he may make it difficult for the RED CROSS to do their job. I work with some folks who are RED CROSS ER and disaster relief and they are amazing people. Just amazing. The best thing he can do is stay out of the way.

He'll exploit a serious matter for political gain and he'll end up looking like an ass. It'll be Benghazi all over again. If he REALLY wanted to help, if it was something he truly cared about and was not simply trying create the appearance of caring, he would contact the governors in the states those buses are in and say, "They're loaded with supplies. Distribute them and keep the buses to help with evacuations. You know where they're needed. We don't want to get in the way."

POTUS is in touch with multiple governors, multiple agencies and is directing FEMA to coordinate relief in multiple states ... but they'll say he didn't show leadership because he didn't help anyone - the governors, agencies, and FEMA workers did.

I am serious. Over 300, 0000 people in my state of CT are evacuating the shoreline. I know there is evacuations along the shoreline in other states as well. This storm is serious. This is not a time to play "pretend hero". It is a time to get the hell out of the Hurricane Sandy's way.

but the rw media will blitz the Romney thing as what a great and generous guy he is, etc. Obama's team needs to make sure they counter this with a lot of info about what he is doing to assist. Just doing it won't get much play probably from the biased media.

Actually, he's got FEMA, and the military, and federal aid programs. And unemployment insurance for those who lose their jobs due to the storm, and medical care thanks to ACA, and......

But I guess a single measly bus full of MREs is more impressive.
