2016 Postmortem

First of all, they ignored the Politico poll (at least the portion that I watched).
Second, Joe S. said that if anyone believes that this race is anything other than a tie, they are an ideologue (sp?). He said that we should not be allowed near a computer or typewriter.
They pimped Florida numbers for Romney. They did not even show polls that had it close. He did give pause to the Virginia numbers. Then he (or someone on the panel) said that Virginia was full of Obama voters (young people, hispanic, women, blacks, etc). Well, if he thought that then why did he say Romney would win Virginia. He is such an @sshole! I rarely swear but Joe S. gets on my last nerve! Then the panel just sits there and agrees with him! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh..Oh and meanwhile Halperin was trying to show ways for Romney to win without Virginia! They said Romney has a better shot in Ohio than in Virginia.
Oh and he threw Nate Silver under the bus. He said the 70-something percent chance of Obama winning was ridiculous!

(35,338 posts)538 and Obama is still at 297/76.6%. I turned MJ back on for a second and Obama has
apparently conceded Florida he cancelled an event there today.

(27,630 posts)Which one is more annoying, Joe or Mika? I am inclined to say Mika is more annoying, because for some reason she gets a good salary to sit there and say "mmmmyeah" "ohhh", "ummm" and occasionally roll her eyes.

(42,770 posts)because of her demeanor. She says, "mmmmyeah", etc. because she doesn't seem to have anything meaningful or factual to say. So, the men just walk all over her - no respect. And then the self-righteousness. ugh.
Like it or not, Joe is a republican. He isn't paid to be fair, he's paid to say what he wants. So his bias
is just like our bias - just from the opposite side.

(35,338 posts)Mika has is being a token women I guess, she just sits there and looks disgusted most of the time but rarely ever adds anything to the discussion.

(8,064 posts)and I say we email and tweet them to remind them how wrong they were and how they kept pushing all romney polls and ignored good obama polls.
we need to do this every day for at least a year after the election so they know we won't forget and we will be on their asses in 2016 when they try to spin again.
and to me, it's more than just spin. they are lying.

(720 posts)and he was as usual very well spoken, and I appreciated hearing him.
Joe is just a republican.
But Mikka caused me to turn off the tv simply because of what she was wearing. I don't want to see that.

Don't people pay attention???????? Just answered my own question, they pay attention to FAUX news...which I will NEVER watch.

(8,064 posts)the des moines register endorsement at least 5 times.
did joe ever mention obama being endorsed by the salt lake tribune?? i would think that that is a bigger deal.
also, i was watching the very moment that breaking news came in that colin powell endorsed obama
and chuck todd's immediate reaction was that it didn't mean anything. they are fox news light.
