10. White privilege is still a problem in this party.

As is looking down the nose at southerners and blue-collar Americans (I am talking about fellow Dems, not necessarily the party). Many in these demographics are also people of faith, who are "privileged" enough to be "set straight" about their "fairy tale beliefs" by the "enlightened" Democratic atheist or agnostic. That culture gets really old, really quickly.

11. I am ecstatic that I am a Democrat!

I have only to look around at all of the fundies that surround me on a daily basis (in Texas!) to realize how very fortunate that I am NOT like them.

The fellow Texas Dems that I know are all intelligent, refined, caring and compassionate people. I am proud to be counted amongst them instead of the evangelical weirdos who use whatever is at their disposal to promote hate of any person who is not exactly like them.
