So fight for your deeply held preference, as if the world depended on it...stop the drone attacks, renditions, Guantanamo, etc. GO FOR IT!!!

The Democratic run Congress and Senate at the time. The Republicans won't even hear him say "Gua..." before they shut him down.

is committed to taking the circumstances of conflict under consideration. Like most of us he would use retalitory force if we are attacked. We should be thankful that he is a leader who believes in using peaceful means to tackle conflicts.

Sorry, his record on war is abyssmal.

Now, I really don't want him to explain why military action against Iran is necessary.

There have been a few that would trump him. Eisenhower is probably the most recent to come to mind, although Kennedy was pissed when he came into office. Ike had spent time proclaiming "he kept us out of war" only to be told of all the places around the world that Kennedy might have to take military action, including Cuba and Vietnam. Carter was pretty "peaceful" in his 4 years. But yeah, considering the exteremly long list of conflicts in which this country has been involved since its inception, there aren't alot of pacificist periods to which to point. But even among this list, Obama has had sustained, increased, or started an incredible number of actions for a guy that ran in the primaries trying to appeal to the anti-war crowd.

And is that going to be Joe Wilson, or some other unknown Wilson?
