PPP - Public Policy Polling says it's receiving hate mail over latest polls

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2012/10/crazy-e-mail-of-the-day-1.html

"Hate" is their word from Twitter - I'm guessing they publish the emails that are not full of expletives. This one is just "crazy".

New hate mail- apparently our polls are going to lead to riots in the streets: http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2012/10/crazy-e-mail-of-the-day-1.html

Crazy E-Mail of the Day

Apparently our polls are going to lead to people rioting in the streets (by the way if you send us an abusive e-mail we will feel no guilt whatsoever about publishing your e-mail address):

Subject: Most recent Ohio Poll

To Whom It May Concern,

In your most recent presidential preference poll for Ohio you show President Obama with a 4 point advantage over Governor Romney. In order to get this result, however, you used a sample that showed Democrats with an 8 point advantage over Republicans. This is a greater advantage than Obama enjoyed in 2008 and it comes nowhere near reflecting the current electorate in Ohio. You are either incompetent pollsters, delusional in your assumptions or intentionally trying to skew your poll to benefit Obama - or, maybe, you are all three of these. If Obama supporters riot in the streets after he loses the election because your erroneous poll showed that he was ahead in the polls, you will be complicit in any resulting violence and damage. Then again, you may not have a conscience!

Sending hatemail to a neutral and accurate opinion polling group is so typically Republican.

The next thing they'll do is attack media outlets for telling the truth, oh wait...

for romney, whether they like it or not.

these tea bag republicans are evil. it's their way or the high way and party over country.. party over family.. party over children. i pray that romney loses and the tea bag party goes away forever and rots in hell.

I often here this, or similar, cited as why we see Dem leads in many of these states. Can somebody shed some light on this for me?

over anyone looking straight back to 2008. I don't know what the gap was in '08, btw or what the gap is in PPP's model. But I too, was struck by the fact that the email did not seem all that hateful, until you get to the last two sentences.
