New poll: Obama up 6 in Nevada

<snip>

Obama is up 49 percent to 43 percent in the survey. Among the 23 percent who answered they had voted early, Obama has an 8 percentage point edge. (The Democratic statewide edge in early/mail ballots is about 8 percentage points.)

4. early voting really makes a difference. gives a clearer vision of where the state is at.

I do believe these numbers as they reflect how early voting is going. the more emphasis that a state takes on in an election, the more likely people are to vote and they are voting in great numbers in Nevada (especially Dems) who hold a very large lead in registered voters.

5. Funny how poll nubmers receive more responses than actual EV results

The polls show Obama with a lead of 6 points, but early voting results, at least from the numbers I'm running into, show he has a lead of ~8 points.

Poll is just a poll, but EVs are actual Dems flipping a switch.

They asked my sex, age grouping, if I voted early, and if I did who I voted for (I assume if I had said I didn't vote early it would have asked who I expected to vote for). It was an automated survey.

Berkley has not been able to seal the deal even w/ Dems so she'll have to hope that women carry her through I'm guessing.

Berkley will need Obama's coattails if she is going to get over the top.

It could be a very close miss for this Senate seat. That would suck.

Here's hoping for the best.

11. The deal is to win clark county by 75k+ votes

and we can see that happening right in front of us. Clark County AKA las vegas voters are unionized and I do not see Romney making any cracks into that block. NV is going to green this year and 2016.
