I do not watch live television (commercial talk)

Daily Colberts, for example, downloaded. No commercials. It's bliss.

I turned on the nooz to see the live coverage of the storm. Holy shit snacks. It's wall to wall bullshit from every side. I'm not a fan of negative ads and it's impossible to tell who's funding it for the most part because of the super-PAC nonsense. But I'm in South Florida and the vile Allen West is behind a lot of ads. Honestly, it's bewildering. He's airing ads against several different candidates. I thought he only had one race?

It's no wonder people are turned off by politics. I can't imagine how sick of it the average couch potato must feel. Just sitting through an hour of it made me want to tear up my voter's card and move to a cave.

I know the pukes are banking on voter apathy. Frankly, I think the DLC Dems are, too. Disgust the vast majority of likely voters, fight over the tiny remnants that can survive in the toxic brine. It might be a winning strategy for them but it's terrible for the country.
