Related: About this forumMitt Romney refuses to answer whether he'd eliminate FEMA
Thank God we finally have a candidate for president who is fully committed to not telling anyone a damn thing about what he stands for or what his opinions might be:
"Gov are you going to eliminate FEMA?" a print pooler shouted, receiving no response.
Wires reporters asked more questions about FEMA that were ignored.
Romney kept coming over near pool to pick up more water. He ignored these questions:
"Gov are you going to see some storm damage?"
"Gov has [New Jersey Gov.] Chris Christie invited you to come survey storm damage?"
"Gov you've been asked 14 times, why are you refusing to answer the question?"
He's going all-in at this point. He's apparently answered all the questions he's going to answer about how he might govern the nation, and that's that.
He's given "you people" all you need to know.

question everything
(47,485 posts)He refused to talk about his budget, about his support, or not, of Murdock, of repealing the Affordable Health Act.. everything.
He is etching and sketching. Everything that he did as governor was forgotten during the primaries, and everything that he said in the primaries is no longer valid.
And... many republicans love him for that.

(24,411 posts)Mitt Romney doesn't just flip flop on a few issues.
He says things. Then he denies that he ever said those things. He's a complete bald-faced liar.
On nearly ever significant issue in his campaign, he has changed policy stances. He has adopted new ideas that contradict the old ones. Then he refuses to explain.
He's made so many contradictory statements on: Healthcare reform; abortion; education; equal pay for women; his own fricking tax plan; hiring more teachers; global warming; getting the troops out of Iraq; FEMA; coal; accessibility to birth control; rape comments. The list goes on.
How in the hell can anyone vote for Mitt Romney, when he has made the case for virtually EVERY position on EVER issue???
What ARE you voting for when you vote for Mitt Romney? Does Mitt Romney even know?
