What can I do?

I plan to take Election Day off. I want to spend the day at my polling place. I want make sure that the 'pugs don't hamper the Dem voters. I've never done this before, but I cannot go to work and worry about VA being stolen through voter suppression. I need to do something.

Suggestions?

Depends on the laws in each state but one year I was placed outside a polling place with some others to hold signs and wave folks in.

You might be able to still sign up as a poll-watcher. Good luck!

I know that our local tea party has said they will be checking to see if people are legal voters, and although I have already voted, I too am off on election day. And would love to do anything that would put a stick in their spokes!!

They took my phone number and email.

I feel an intense responsibility to make sure that VA voters understand what their voting rights are and what the process is.
