(19,877 posts)This place is like 80% Bernie fans.
I have a feeling that our fellow Hillary supporters will return to DU fairly soon. Oh happy day.

(18,115 posts)And over 50% of those fans aren't even Democrats, but are simply trouble makers and trolls, or both.

(14,047 posts)The poster got hidden for calling Bernie supporters wingnuts. Don't you agree that type of name calling is rude enough to be hidden? There are a lot of BS hides, including on Fun N Serious transparency page, but there are a good number of legitimate hides too.

(3,473 posts)Because I was told "Fuck You" and to "Shut the Fuck Up", among other things ... and none of those things were worthy of being hidden. It just shows how broken the jury system is, when it is stacked with BS cheerleaders. But one of my posts was hidden because I said "you people" ... and their little fee fees were hurt.
I half expect this post to get alert stalked.

(14,047 posts)I think anyone saying "Fuck you" should definitely get the post hidden. I hope we go back to a moderator system but I doubt it'll happen :/

(1,729 posts)I think at least one of mine is valid alone and out of context, though frankly I think it should have been seen in the humorous light I was saying it. The rest of them, when taken into the context of what they are responding to, are completely bogus. If a Bernie supporter compares Bernie to Kim Jong Un and I just play along with the metaphor, I should not be hidden if that poster is not also hidden. That is what makes it completely unfair. I haven't sworn at anyone and I've been accused of being a sock, a paid troll (which have been against the TOS at various times though I'm not sure if they still are), and other names that never got reported. The system is completely broken.

(1,729 posts)... and keep focussing on hides. There are a number of us that are are specifically targeted. I have been meticulously managing my jury blacklist to make sure that the current folks who seem to be trolling me are on the list so that if anyone else alerts me, they are withdrawn from the pool. I've noticed I've gotten fewer hides since.

(7,499 posts)An obvious pass. Now if the poster had 377 posts in the Sanders group...well, you know.

(30,613 posts)The math at this point is tough, but contrary to some posts here, it is not impossible for our party to select the stronger GE candidate.

(19,818 posts)and superdelegates , yeah it kind of is.

(30,613 posts)So one more time, the math as it really stands today:
We are not talking about differential equations or calculus here. Simple arithmetic.
Delegates Clinton Sanders Delegate
Delegates+Supers 4763 2205 1401
Delegates Won 4051 1683 1362
Superdelegates (712) 522 39
Counting only elected delegates (i.e. the legitimate delegates):
To get a majority of PDs (2026):
Hillary needs 343 more PDs
Bernie needs 664 more PDs
There are 1006 PDs still available. Absolutely it is a narrow path for Bernie. But it is a complete lie to say it's "mathematically impossible" for Bernie. Not an opinion, not a perception. A complete, mathematical, provable LIE.
As for supers, Bernie has pointed out that the ones who choose to defy the popular vote in their states do so at their political peril. Most of them are also elected officials!

Sanders would need to win more than 65% of ALL the remaining pledged delegates .... and that's just not going to happen. The ONLY states where he has won more than 65% of the pledged delegates are Vermont, Kansas and Democrats Abroad. Your numbers make it even more difficult for BS as he would need more than 66% of all remaining delegates.
#BernieMath isn't going to help you here.

(4,569 posts)People have not forgotten how Bernie feels about President Barrack Obama. From his dismissing of Obama's accomplishments to openly calling for him to be Primaried in 2012 (when he was too chicken to do so himself). He alienated millions of Democratic voters.......
