OHIO: OBAMA +3 (SurveyUSA)

President Obama is maintaining a small but steady lead in Ohio, according to a new poll released Tuesday commissioned by Columbus TV station WCMH and conducted by SurveyUSA. Obama sees 48 percent to Republican candidate Mitt Romney's 45 percent, very similar totals to a number of other Ohio polls released over the last week. The poll's margin of error is plus or minus 4.1 percent.

Political independents split toward Romney 48 percent to Obama's 37 percent, but the president leads overall due to the gender gap -- he's ahead with women by 13 points and Romney takes men by 8 percent.

They have a very good record and if anything have been a bit harsh to Obama in the past.

Good numbers!

of the last 19 OH polls and tied in the rest, right?

I mean can we just accept he is going to win OH, already? The wingnuts are convinced Obama's going to steal it anyway so might as well dampen their spirits.

I want President Obama to win. So much so, that I'm praying to the Gods and offering up deals.

This poll would not be this close. The man who saved the auto industry should be up by 10 points in OH & MI!!!

It's good news for Obama that Romney is resorting to such futile tactics. He has absolutely nothing left in in his arsenal.
