New Poll PA: Obama 48% Romney 44%

There is a new poll out of PA from Franklin and Marshall.

Obama 48%

Romney 44%

I still don't think we are at risk of losing PA. At this point in the race, a 4-6 point lead in a state the size of PA is real good. But we are not likely to have the margin here we had in 2008.

For scale:

2004-Kerry won PA by 2.5%

2000- Gore won PA by 4.2%

PA is not in play. 2008 was a blowout year in which Obama won by 10%, but that's probably not going to happen every year.

tonight saying Romney is making a play for PA, especially Western.

Apparently he is trying to push the Obama-war-on-coal crapola.

PA is the President's, although agreed, not by '08 margins.

percent of non whites. No cell phone calls. It does not say that but any pollster that does call them mentions it, so saying no.

I think Obama will win it by 4-7 points. I'm not terribly worried about it. It seems the media, every election cycle, tries to push this narrative the Democrats might lose it ... and they never do.

But Obama has a much stronger campaign then either of them had. He won in 2008 by a little over 10%. If I had to guess it will be a tad under that but still not close.
