Let's abolish primary elections altogether.

Especially for selecting presidential nominees. Instead, we'll tally social media posts and discussion forum polls, add in online polling, and nominate the person with the most buzz and highest numbers on those venues.

It's the 21st century after all. Primary elections are, like, obsolete and take way too much of people's precious time. Twitter, FB, YouTube and Reddit are real. Voting is for geezers.

Feel the Nerd!

1. Let's abolish elections altogether

Lockdown Washington and install Bernie Sanders as President for Life.

4. Since the parties are picking who they want anyway...

the result is the same, and there's a lot less stress.

19. Oh yeah, the GOP is just pissing themselves with happiness about tRump. CLEARLY

And I know it sucks for you - but DEMOCRATIC VOTERS voted for Hillary and that's how she won. Sorry. This isn't like your T-ball team where everyone gets to be "the Champions" just for showing up and screaming from the bench.

5. We could go back to the old smoke-filled-room method

where party hacks picked the nominees - kind of like DWS has been doing with the DNC.

9. The D in DNC stands for Democratic; she should be supporting the Democrat.

She is doing her job. It is not necessary that non-Democrats approve of her.

7. Yes, lets let DU Consensus determine future Presidents and Major Policy decisions.

After all, we have so many highly educated political and policy experts here that can tap away their pearls of wisdom at the keyboard. Not to mention the experts in World History and Foreign Affairs.

10. Well, DU is too small a sample.

We need to count other things, like Facebook likes, YouTube views, sub-reddits and online polls after debates. Things like that that truly measure public opinion of people who are all engaged and stuff. You know, real-world datums and things.

Time to move into the honest, true digital age and like that.

8. I'm With Her Donors

Why don't we just let the big corporate donor's pick them. Whoever gets the most cash wins.

I'm With HER donors

11. Let's exclude millionaires and billionaires from holding office

because of conflicts of interest and pick from the 90-99% pool

13. Hey, we could just have a lottery.

Buy just one $2 ticket, you know, to show you're serious. Then on the first Tuesday in November the winner would be drawn and would become President. Anyone could win, no matter who he or she was.

Simple, clean and fair, right?

17. The millionaires and billionaires would buy up too many tickets

If we excluded them we could get rid of most of the Senate, a lot of the House and the Bloombergs, Trumpies, Bushes, Clinton's and others. What a refreshing breeze.

18. One $2 ticket per person.

That would even things out. 99% aren't millionaires. Simple.

That's VERY important! It's a sign from the universe, totally.

16. Hmm...perhaps.

Or, you could put the candidates naked in a fee-range chicken enclosure and count peck marks.
