Related: About this forumSo Trump said the debate with Bernie was a joke?
LETS CALL HIM OUT ON THAT
#TRUMPTHEWIMP
Make it go viral. That man cannot tolerate humiliation so we're going to call him out for the chickenshit he is! He should have put his money where his mouth is when he decided to call a debate against our Bernie!
Fuck that, we're exposing his weak ass talk for what it is! Make it happen!
#TRUMPTHEWIMP

#TRUMPTHEWIMP!!!
All of us Democrats need to call this shit out, no matter who your support! He will be our competitor in the GE!

'Dont, you're making her look like a coward!'

(8,812 posts)... "Cut it out!"
As we all know, those three words are incredibly powerful.
Right up there with "Shazam!", "Abracadabra", and "Open sesame."

(30,481 posts)That Sanders wasn't going to sit there and trash Clinton with him. That Sanders would be trashing him instead.
Trump never really had intentions to debate Clinton. He knew Sanders supporters would buy in with ease. The troll trolled well. It was too easy.
The one question no one seemed to be asking; what is the benefit to Trump if he debated the loser of the dems primary?

(10,345 posts)Hillary will be facing a contested convention.
Secondly, Trump wouldn't gain from the debate, but WE WOULD Hillary supporters and Bernie supporters would have.
That's why we should call him on this bullshit and humiliate him for talking all big and backing down.
KingFlorez
(12,689 posts)Therefore, no contested convention.

(30,481 posts)Trying not to respond to comments like that anymore. Trying to be positive and comments like that simply deserve to be mocked.
I wish you luck in your attempts to subvert the will of the people.
retrowire
(10,345 posts)You can whine about that and I can whine about superdelegates.
It's the way the system works.
Hillary won't get enough pledged delegates to get the nomination and it will then be contested.
That's the system. Mock the system, not me for telling the truth.
NCTraveler
(30,481 posts)Clinton will win on the first ballot.
This really is simple stuff.
retrowire
(10,345 posts)And Hillary isn't getting the nomination automagically.

(10,345 posts)I was told by a "Hillary supporter" in a another thread that I got Trumped.
That's a fucking Trump supporters slur right there and Hillary supporters are using it now? Hahaha

(10,345 posts)Why anyone would be hurt by progressive stances and a non centrist candidate is beyond me.

(744 posts)I was wondering how long that would take to sink in. I didn't think he sounded that serious to begin with and it was a late night talk show after all.
Why would Trump debate Bernie? He knows Bernie won't be the nominee. Hillary knows Bernie won't be the nominee. Heck, truth be known, we ALL know Bernie won't be the nominee but some are in deep denial about it.
retrowire
(10,345 posts)I'm laughing at a great thing.
retrowire
(10,345 posts)Oh wait, you're laughing at your allies who are against Trump.
barrow-wight
(744 posts)Indignation is rarely a path to reason.
I am laughing at the downward spiral of this tragic campaign by an equally tragic candidate who just doesn't know when he's done. It's like one of those ghosts that doesn't know they're dead and they just keep going around trying to do everything normal but nothing normal works.
Trust that I have plenty of Trump's idiotic behavior to laugh at too but today belongs to the Bern.
