Why are some people here seemingly happy that Trump "punked" Bernie?

It appears that a few people on this site are laughing along with Donald about the "joke" debate. I thought no "Trump-humping" was allowed? I don't like it when either side does the GOP's work for them.

Trump has been getting hammered in the media for months and he's shown he doesn't care at all what they say about him.

Did you watch any of the GOP debates? He has no problem being insulting, rude and combative. There's literally nothing Bernie could say that hasn't been said about Trump before, and Bernie isn't exactly a good debater to start with.

Nobody who is considering voting for Trump cares if he doesn't debate Bernie. The only people who care are Berniebros who would love the legitimacy that a debate against the GOP nominee would bring.

Trump has all the cards. He punked Bernie and made him dance.

The real show comes in a few months when Clinton debates Trump.

I think all of what is going on here is obvious. You have a Hillary-supporting site admin keeping the fires of rage fueled at at the highest notch on the dial for weeks and weeks, long after such vitriol will have any actual effect on the election. All of this fighting must generate incredible ad views. I will say, it is a bit cruel of a Hillary supporter to do that to so many Bernie fans because it's only going to result in a far greater emotional crash when they finally accept that he's not going to be the nominee.
