Vox: Sanders is beating Obama's 2008 Youth Vote Record: And the Primary's Not Even Over

And before the vultures come out, yes it's clear the other segments of the Obama coalition did not show up in turn. Still an achievement for the candidate who will only have two people ahead of him in this Party's history who got more votes in a Primary when all is said and done.

Had he won Nevada, after decimating her in NH and taking it to the wire in Iowa, do you honestly think he wouldn't have made a push in the South?

That push may not have been enough either. I will continue to contend that he never anticipated winning almost half the states in the country, thus a lack of a plan. His fault for sure.

But I think after Nevada and reading the tea leaves in SC, he had a decision to make based on his resources. And going for the delegates elsewhere was the move to make. No different than when Red states are written off by our candidates in most GE. Long game, he had to make a choice and had he blown all his money in the South, his campaign would have been over on March 1.
